Nadia & Haig

01 Jun Wedding / Photographed by Chelsea Gray & Elizabeth Delage / Friday & Sunday, May 20th & 22nd 2011 Oh how we love thee, Nadia & Haig. Not only did these two modern lovebirds allow us to shoot anywhere around town (finally, Mile End!) but they were the sweetest, most mellow couple on the planet to work with. The weekend festivities started off with a Sangeet on Friday (Henna party) complete with tons of choreographed Bollywood-style dances from the couple's closest friends and a delicious Indian feast. Saturday was the private ceremony at home for family only, followed by the Sunday reception, which included crazy swirling Armenian dancing (the best Armenian dancing I've ever seen at a wedding) and a sweet/candy table to die for. I must mention how much fun it was to shoot in Haig's retro man-cave. As a video game developer at Ubisoft, Haig's collection of giant vintage joysticks and memorabilia made for hilarious props. Good times!
