Two days after Leila+Wadih's wedding at Sursock Palace, Elizabeth and I were driven down to the southern Tyr beachside for an adventurous fashion/editorial shoot with our couple in their wedding attire. The bride wore her custom-made Ellie Saab dress and cascading cathedral veil, while the groom wore a dashing Tom Ford suit. Elizabeth and I couldn't have been happier with our adventure!

Rachelle & Jean-Michel

28 Jul Wedding / Photographed by Elizabeth Delage & Daniel Francis Haber / Ile-Sainte-Helene / Sunday, July 3rd 2011 July 3rd 2011 called for rain... BIG rain, and thunderstorms, but the skies opened up miraculously by the morning and we were treated to one of the most beautiful warm, sunny Saturdays of the month ! Rachelle and Jean-Michel (aka Mitch) wed quietly, surrounded by family and friends under the swaying willows of Ile-Sainte-Helene, followed by a cocktail hour and reception hosted by Montreal's infallible AVOCADO caterers at the Toundra (former Canadian Pavilion at Expo '67).  The site brought out an incredibly sentimental moment for Rachelle's father, whom 44 years ago, on the exact same day was discovering the Pavilion for the first time at Expo '67. During his speech he expressed his utmost joy that never had he imagined he would be celebrating not only his birthday, but the wedding of his daughter at  the same site he adored as a child...

Renée & Nick

06 Apr Engagement / Photographed by Chelsea Gray / Westmount, Qc. / Sunday, April 3rd 2011 As many of my friends know, I like to fly by the seat of my pants, so this weekend when Renée and Nick were driving me up through Westmount to get to the top of Mount Royal for nature shots, all our plans flew right out the window the second I saw a closed public pool. "Uh, hey guys! Check it out, an empty pool!" I pointed out, and just like that, we took a u-turn and headed straight to a community center to check out whether or not we'd have to break in. Turns out that the ultra laid back staff allowed us to skate on the ice rink (PERFECT, as it's our couple's favourite pastime) dance around the pool, and they even let us to drag out the timer clock as a prop (yes, I'm a little obsessed with props now).  It was a perfect way to start off the season... to 2011!

Fanny & Tiago

26 Jul Engagement / Photographed by Elizabeth Delage / Montreal, Qc. / Sunday, July 25th 2010 Fanny and Tiago met in school and have been together for over seven years. Tiago was born in Portugal and absolutely loves fishing, while Fanny's passion is photography, so it was a natural decision to head out to the water and play for the camera with Elizabeth. This was the site where they got engaged as well- Tiago proposed to Fanny in a "bateau mouche" that sailed around the Old Port....how romantique!
