Two days after Leila+Wadih's wedding at Sursock Palace, Elizabeth and I were driven down to the southern Tyr beachside for an adventurous fashion/editorial shoot with our couple in their wedding attire. The bride wore her custom-made Ellie Saab dress and cascading cathedral veil, while the groom wore a dashing Tom Ford suit. Elizabeth and I couldn't have been happier with our adventure!

Blushing Bride Studio Crew

24 Aug The Team / Photographed by Roberto Ugarte / Friday, August 19th 2011 We've been insanely busy this summer (which is a good thing!) and have been working on the new website, so when it came time to shoot our bio pics, I called upon Roberto Ugarte (my longtime friend and BBS collaborator), who managed to execute our 'Empire State of Mind' video-inspired vision perfectly. It was fun to get all gussied up in fashions but we're definitely meant to be BEHIND the camera. Cindy & Jean-Nicola

26 Jul Engagement / Photographed by Chelsea Gray & Roberto Ugarte / Chertsey, Qc. / Friday, July 23rd 2010 Cindy and Jean-Nicola are going to have quite the traditional wedding this September so I asked them if they'd like to go a little crazy on their engagement shoot. I sent Cindy a few links to the most amazing engagement shoots that have been blogged about recently (one included a take on the movie UP) and she emailed me back that she'd like to head to Jean-Nicola's cottage in Chertsey Quebec and re-create scenes from their favourite movie "The Notebook"... She promised he'd even grow his beard out and everything! Well, how could I resist? I just had to rent the movie first- apparently I'm "the last woman in the world who hasn't seen the movie" according to the kid at the rental store. A few things to note: Doesn't Cindy look exactly like Rachel McAdams? It's crazy! Plus, if you notice carefully, Jean-Nic doesn't sport the promised beard (we had to reschedule the shoot to a later date due to thunderstorms and by then, the beard had grown quite long and he had to shave it! I'm so in love with this shoot, check it out:

Bridal Fashion Editorial – Preview

In our wedding downtime, we were itching to keep shooting so when we fell in love with the prestigious Mount Royal Club at Katharine and Patrick's wedding in February,  we decided to use it as the setting for our first-ever bridal editorial for Christianne Brunelle Couture Nuptiale.
