Saturday, February 20th 2010 Photos by Chelsea Gray, Paulo Rodrigues, and Neel Mehra (Montreal, Quebec)
Saturday the 20th was a double wedding day for us at the studio…
Elizabeth was out in Quebec city while Neel, Paulo and I were in town shooting Katharine and Patrick’s winter nuptials, which was held at the prestigious Mount Royal Club. Here are a few of my favourite shots from their elegant ceremony and wildly entertaining, karaoke-filled reception. The highlights of the night for us was watching the best man’s animated slideshow about the groom (aka PACKER)…it was easily one of the most well-crafted, hilarious slideshows we’ve ever witnessed at a wedding (and we’ve seen a LOT of slideshows in our time). Another great moment was when the bride’s father broke into “Shake a Tail Feather” onstage as his daughter and friends shook around with their “tail feathers” in the air. The night ended with some good-old slow songs such as Neil Young’s “Harvest Moon”, and I can still see the groom’s parents gazing into each others’ eyes as they danced to that one… It was a beautiful sight!

Oh my god, that last one is A-MA-ZING!
It reminds me of Madonna or something!
I love the bride and groom getting ready, especially the shoes! Not to mention all the other photographs. Can’t wait until Sunday
Gorgeous photos of such a special occasion — have shared with all my family, who remain smitten with the groom, and now with the bride! Gussy, thanks for sending.
Chelsea-honestly the photos are just wonderful-thank you-to all three of you.
Thank you all for your comments! We had a wonderful time.

Beyond wondrous photos/art pieces! The wedding/the event/the glorious weekend was priceless in the best sense…… and such a trip down quite a few memory lanes!
