Tiffany and Pawel were our super-cute motorcycling duo from St-Henri who found us through friends, and let me speak for Elizabeth and Neel for a moment: “They ROCKED!” on their wedding day- especially when they gave Neel and Elizabeth full reign on where to shoot at night with crazy poses in the nooks and crannies of Stewart Hall. Gotta love their Mad Men-themed table cards and the 007 photobooth.

I was thinking of Catherine on Saturday morning as I was slowly walking through the beautiful first house and studio of Frank Lloyd Wright in Chicago ( Cath has a BA in architecture and has also worked as a building inspector, among many other fascinating careers!)…and although I was miles away, I was confident that the crew back at home would capture every precious moment between Paul and Catherine and they most certainly did. The event was held at the picturesque Chateau Vaudreuil and was coordinated by the lovely Gloria of Principessa Events…check out their gorgeous wedding:

August 7th 2010 was a stellar day, I must admit… Not only did I get to visit the most beautiful and inspiring historical house I’ve ever seen (Frank Lloyd Wright’s first house and studio!), but I got to share in the joy of an old friend, Erin (and her hilarious groom Mike). As a major Etsy fan, Erin went all out with the details of the decor and truly brightened up the gorgeous Valley Lo Club with yellow treasures. The hardest part for Neel and I was leaving the party around 1am so we could actually sleep before our flight home. Everyone was still up, eating sliders and drinking beers in the hotel lobby (even as we left at 3am!).  Wish we could’ve stayed longer guys…love ya!

On 3.5 hours of sleep, Neel and I flew into town from Erin+Mike’s wedding out in Chicago and on pure adrenaline started to shoot Candice and Nick’s wedding…

Now we at Blushing Bride Studio absolutely ADORE outdoor weddings….why you ask? Because they always have so much charm and wholesome good times! Candice and Nick’s outdoor Abercorn ceremony may have been infused with a touch of rain but the warmth was felt all around, from the impeccable coordination of Tania at BLANC events to the decor of JOE’s Prop house, the unbelievable catering by JavaU who at midnight brought out a POUTINE STATION (yessss!). This stylish wedding had all the stuff dreams are made of (which is why it will be featured in this January’s edition of Mariage CHIC magazine) so look out for it!

When Laurie and Josh approached me about their country wedding in Vermont, I couldn’t help but get excited because it had all the makings of a crazy adventure: Camp-like accommodations, fresh country air, wholesome food and family fun, and Laurie’s mother promised me that most likely by 2am, everyone would be jumping into the water…well sign me up, already!

Rob and I had a great time hanging out around the beautiful Grand Isle Lake House, as the guests ran around in their bathrobes, and got ready for the big day. I must admit, there couldn’t have been a more mellow wedding than this one…my favourite kind:)

After looking through Neel’s shots of Yasmeen and Hassan’s late June nuptials, I couldn’t help but fall in love with their little red-headed flower girl. Neel took so many adorable photos of this child that I was tempted to give her her own blog post! (no joke). I hope you enjoy the selections I’ve chosen of their day. It involved a very intimate Muslim ceremony at home followed by a reception at the Paradis.

This is what we’ve been working on from last Saturday’s  nuptials of Suzanne+Pierre, held in the chapel of the famous Notre Dame Basilica in Old Montreal. The event was coordinated flawlessly by François Dussault and Lisa Delisle of Avocado Traiteur and the reception was held in a gorgeous wing of the Musée des Beaux Arts …It is always a pleasure to work with Avocado, as they run such a tight operation of elegant staff, dedicated chefs and with such a great team, your event is sure to be a success. Much love to A Boite a Fleurs for their exquisite floral arrangements, the decor was fabulous!

Audrey and Stéphane were the couple that we brought out one chilly December’s evening for a steamy sunset shoot at Montreal’s architectural gem, Habitat 67. What I love most about the photos of their day is that they are so colourful and abstract. Elizabeth and Neel did an amazing job creating one-of-a-kind images for our couple…enjoy!

Lauren and Oskar make such a charmingly good-looking pair. Their family and friends flew in from around the globe to see them wed a few weekends ago and I am pleased to share their photos with you. (I felt a little more pressure this time than usual, given that Lauren herself is a photographer AND close family friend to my best pal, Stephen). I can only imagine how much fun they’re having right now on their adventurous Honeymoon to Indonesia, Borneo, Cambodia, and Malaysia! Cheers guys:

This wedding was 13 years in the making… As high school sweethearts, Jessica and Sebastian have been dating for 13 years now so it was finally the day to tie the knot. Rob and I had the opportunity to witness the fusion of two incredibly close families: Seb’s Chinese/Peruvian family danced around the reception all night, in group dances, infectious smiles all around, and Jess’ Armenian/Arabic family brought out sticks and belly danced with her to the deejaying and music of the Directors. (The Directors had so much talent, it was silly)…I mean these guys actually sang Lady Gaga songs live! Thanks again Seb+Jess, you were the epitome of grace and warmth. We had a great day with you:)
