After looking through Neel’s shots of Yasmeen and Hassan’s late June nuptials, I couldn’t help but fall in love with their little red-headed flower girl. Neel took so many adorable photos of this child that I was tempted to give her her own blog post! (no joke). I hope you enjoy the selections I’ve chosen of their day. It involved a very intimate Muslim ceremony at home followed by a reception at the Paradis.

This is what we’ve been working on from last Saturday’s nuptials of Suzanne+Pierre, held in the chapel of the famous Notre Dame Basilica in Old Montreal. The event was coordinated flawlessly by François Dussault and Lisa Delisle of Avocado Traiteur and the reception was held in a gorgeous wing of the Musée des Beaux Arts …It is always a pleasure to work with Avocado, as they run such a tight operation of elegant staff, dedicated chefs and with such a great team, your event is sure to be a success. Much love to A Boite a Fleurs for their exquisite floral arrangements, the decor was fabulous!

Fanny and Tiago met in school and have been together for over seven years. Tiago was born in Portugal and absolutely loves fishing, while Fanny’s passion is photography, so it was a natural decision to head out to the water and play for the camera with Elizabeth. This was the site where they got engaged as well- Tiago proposed to Fanny in a “bateau mouche” that sailed around the Old Port….how romantique!

Cindy and Jean-Nicola are going to have quite the traditional wedding this September so I asked them if they’d like to go a little crazy on their engagement shoot. I sent Cindy a few links to the most amazing engagement shoots that have been blogged about recently (one included a take on the movie UP) and she emailed me back that she’d like to head to Jean-Nicola’s cottage in Chertsey Quebec and re-create scenes from their favourite movie “The Notebook”… She promised he’d even grow his beard out and everything! Well, how could I resist? I just had to rent the movie first- apparently I’m “the last woman in the world who hasn’t seen the movie” according to the kid at the rental store. A few things to note: Doesn’t Cindy look exactly like Rachel McAdams? It’s crazy! Plus, if you notice carefully, Jean-Nic doesn’t sport the promised beard (we had to reschedule the shoot to a later date due to thunderstorms and by then, the beard had grown quite long and he had to shave it! I’m so in love with this shoot, check it out:
