Fanny and Tiago met in school and have been together for over seven years. Tiago was born in Portugal and absolutely loves fishing, while Fanny’s passion is photography, so it was a natural decision to head out to the water and play for the camera with Elizabeth. This was the site where they got engaged as well- Tiago proposed to Fanny in a “bateau mouche” that sailed around the Old Port….how romantique!

Cindy and Jean-Nicola are going to have quite the traditional wedding this September so I asked them if they’d like to go a little crazy on their engagement shoot. I sent Cindy a few links to the most amazing engagement shoots that have been blogged about recently (one included a take on the movie UP) and she emailed me back that she’d like to head to Jean-Nicola’s cottage in Chertsey Quebec and re-create scenes from their favourite movie “The Notebook”… She promised he’d even grow his beard out and everything! Well, how could I resist? I just had to rent the movie first- apparently I’m “the last woman in the world who hasn’t seen the movie” according to the kid at the rental store. A few things to note: Doesn’t Cindy look exactly like Rachel McAdams? It’s crazy! Plus, if you notice carefully, Jean-Nic doesn’t sport the promised beard (we had to reschedule the shoot to a later date due to thunderstorms and by then, the beard had grown quite long and he had to shave it! I’m so in love with this shoot, check it out:

Ok folks. Get ready for this one! Catherine and Paul’s engagement session was an absolute treat to shoot. They brought us out to John Abbott college where they met, and got into some trouble in each and every nook and cranny of the place (including the bleachers where Paul proposed). The highlight of the shoot was completely messing up an art room that we stumbled upon (shhhh…) and driving off with giant crates of organic tomatoes from Paul’s family farm…Best.Shoot.Ever!

Jackie and Jamie are getting married in September and it happens to be on the busiest day of the year for us: September 4th. We have 5 weddings booked on that date and we’re looking forward to sending out the crew all over Montreal. Jackie and Jamie decided to meet Jacinthe and I at the Old Port and we ventured over to a secret oasis area that I’d never figured out how to enter before…..until our shoot!
