A proposal in the ring – Jeremy & Jessica

10 Nov Engagement / Photographed by Chelsea Gray / Saturday November 7th 2009 On Saturday night I headed out to support local amateur boxer Jeremy Rubin fight against his opponent at the "Super Gala Boxe Olympique" in Montreal. Now, shooting sports is a tough job, I might add (and especially when it's your friend in the ring deflecting punches to the face!), so my poor heart was beating frantically as I photographed the match. Once the fight was over, I jumped onto the side of the ring to grab a few more pictures up close when suddenly Jer beckoned his girlfriend Jessica to the ring for a "picture". To everyone's surprise, he got down on bended knee, exhausted and sweaty, and proposed to her amid uproarious applause from the crowd.
