with sparklers and brought along their beloved pup, Sheila for a scenic stroll.

Nicholas Sparks, Author of 'THE NOTEBOOK', Loves our Shoot!

So I'm perusing my emails this evening and I notice one from a New York company, Moviefone, asking for permission to use our Notebook-inspired engagement session that was originally featured on Southern California's famous wedding blog, Green Wedding Shoes last year. After answering "yes" to them, I glanced down to the rest of my emails and noticed that quite a few were related (again) to the same shoot. I opened one that was

sent directly from Jen Campbell herself, (the creator of GWS) which read basically that there was a huge traffic spike for the Notebook shoot last week, and she figured out why: Nicholas Sparks loves the shoot and he's Tweeted and Facebooked about it on April 7th...How rad is that???

I called our famous couple, Cindy and Jea

n-Nicola immediately to tell them the great news and they were elated. Their shoot has not only gained international acclaim such as GLAMOUR magazine's blog feature, it was also voted by the editors of GWS as their "Most popular e-session of the year for 2010", and is now loved by the international best-selling

author of the book, Nicholas Sparks. Now, THAT'S  a great way to start off the week. Happy Monday!!!

Renée & Nick

As many of my friends know, I like to fly by the seat of my pants, so this weekend when Renée and Nick were driving me up through Westmount to get to the top of Mount Royal for nature shots, all our plans flew right out the window the second I saw a closed public pool. "Uh, hey guys! Check it out, an empty pool!"

I pointed out, and just like that, we took a u-turn and headed straight to a community center to check out whether or not we'd have to break in. Turns out that the ultra laid back staff allowed us to skate on the ice rink (PERFECT, as it's our couple's favourite pastime) dance around the pool, and they even let us to drag out the timer clock as a prop (yes, I'm a little obsessed with props now).  It was a perfect way to start off the season... to 2011!
